After 3 years of waiting, our annual 5D4N New Year’s Eve trip to Koh Lanta, Thailand is finally back! 🇹🇭 This NYE Dive Trip to Koh Lanta has been a yearly staple of BOD since 2015, and we are so happy to bring it back as the perfect trip to ring in the new year! 🎉 Our customers LOVE this trip. This is because they get to experience a new part of Thailand with familiar people here at BOD as tour guides 📸. They get to explore this part of Thailand, while travelling with wonderful company, food, and diving. 🤿

This is the perfect fun-filled trip for the whole family, including the non-divers. All you have to do is show up — and we’ll take care of the rest.

Boasting for having the best diving on Thailand’s west coast, Koh Lanta is a popular destination for scuba divers. Thanks to its colourful reefs, substantial drop-offs, and attractive caverns, it is a hotspot for scuba divers looking for adventure. 🤿

Expect to see a lot of colourful reefs. Light currents cause Gorgonian sea fans to sway, while carpets of anemone swarms the pinnacles. For the enjoyment of macro enthusiasts, keep an eye out for blacktip reef sharks, hawksbill turtles, and several species of nudibranchs, shrimp, pipefish, and seahorses. Diving in Koh Lanta is also known for whale shark and manta ray sightings so be sure to keep one eye out in the blue! 🦈

One of the highlights is diving at the Koh Haa Yai dive site (a.k.a. The Cathedral).  It is covered with a variety of soft corals, sea fans and hard corals, with 2 underwater caves at a depth of 12m. (see trip highlights below!)

Frequent asked questions

How can I book a trip?

You may book online or with one of our booking specialists. If you’d like to connect with one of our booking specialists, please reach out over email or WhatsApp. You may click the WA button on the page, or go to about us for more contact information.

How many days in advance do I need to give if I want to confirm or cancel my trip?

2 weeks in advance from the trip date.

What do I need to bring for my trip?

You can bring along some snacks, extra cash for mini bars, beers and any additional tourism taxes that may apply. If you own any dive gear then you can bring that along as well!

Is there a single surcharge if I'm traveling on my own?

Yes. Please get in touch with us at [email protected] to find out more on the rates.

Can I add an additional night on my trip?

Yes you can. Please get in touch with us at [email protected] to find out the additional night rates.

Can I do my pool sessions during the trip?

We do not recommend doing the pool sessions during the trip as everybody has a different learning pace. So the trip’s duration might not be enough for you to complete the training and get certified.

Can my family and I go to X location on a different date?

Sure, we can make arrangements for private trips for you and your family. Just let us know the location you would like to dive and we will propose the resort and dive arrangements.
