FAQ

FAQ

How do I schedule a pool or a class session?

Once you have decided to join, the first thing we do is to ask you your available times. We use Whatsapp to stay in touch. You can request a session at any time. We can hold sessions from Monday through Sunday, from 10 AM to 6 PM, and will remind you of the class the day before.

How long will it take to finish my training?

This will vary with each person and their needs. Together, we will come up with a custom plan for you.

How long is a pool or class session?

We try and schedule at least two people per class, preferably four. Learning is more conducive, especially when learning skills in the pool. With four people under one instructor, pool sessions are around 2.5 hours, and a class between 1.5 and 2 hours.

Where will I do my open water portion of the training?

Before or during your training, we can talk about what your goals are, and together, find a trip that works for you. There is enough choice to find exactly what fits your personality.

Yes, this is OK. You do not need to be a great swimmer, as long as you can swim a reasonable distance and can tread water or float is all that’s required. Also, we do have a Swimming Course for the adventurous who want to become better at this skill.

You may get this as a swimmer but as a scuba diver, the perception changes. As you get closer to the underwater world, you can see a lot more differences and therefore, you become used to the volume of water/depth.

Continued education is the best thing to do once you started. The next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water Course or a speciality like Deep Diver, Navigation, or Peak Performance Buoyancy. There are many to choose from.
