This is an epic 4-day “no phones, no parents” sleep-away camp on Tioman Island packed with non-stop excitement like scuba diving, kayaking, jungle trekking, water sports & games, campfires, and best of all … s’mores 😉 It’s crazy good fun and one of the most memorable camp experiences on the planet.

DAY BY DAY

Day

1

Travel from KL to Tioman Island via bus and ferry. Play games, swim in the ocean and settle in.

2

Morning jungle trek to the other side of the island, jump off the jetty into the sea! Prepare for dives with a briefing and skill refresher session.

3

Morning dive from shore, afternoon dive at a nearby site via boat. Evening beach bonfire with s' mores.

Depart Tioman for KL via ferry and bus.

WHERE YOU'LL STAY

Tioman Dive Resort

Recognizing the demand for a higher standard of accommodation on the island, B&J has built it’s own Tioman Dive Resort to offer our customers not only spacious and clean rooms, but also daily room cleaning service and all the amenities for a luxurious stay on Tioman. Tioman Dive Resort aka TDR was built in 2012 and extended in 2014. We make it a point to renovate every monsoon season to ensure the place does not age. We are a small, cozy resort with just 11 secluded rooms available to diver and non-divers alike. As our Tripadvisor reviews suggest, we can truthfully say that we have some of the best rooms available in northern Tioman. TDR is conveniently located just meters away from our scuba diving centre in ABC (Air Batang Bay) on Tioman Island.

Your child should bring all personal use items like a wet suit, ample sunscreen, etc.
an additional charge for the van ride to/from the ferry will be added on once we have the final group size. Estimated cost is RM 250 per camper.

We do not recommend doing the pool sessions during the trip as everybody has a different learning pace. So the trip’s duration might not be enough for you to complete the training and get certified. 

Sure, we can make arrangements for private trips for you and your family. Just let us know the location you would like to dive and we will propose the resort and dive arrangements.
