Beginner, Advanced, Friend Groups, FamiliesIt’s been a long 2.5 years since Big Ocean Dive has had an international dive trip. What better way to celebrate that, than with our first trip back to Bali! *Bali and Malaysia as of 1 April 2022 will be Quarantine Free for vaccinated travellers.
Sea Breeze Candidasa overlooks the beautiful Lombok Strait and the Island of Nusa Penida. Once known as Teluk Kehen (“Bay of Fire”), each sunset lights up the lagoon with a myriad of flaming colors. All 14 villas offer scenic ocean views and private terraces to experience Bali’s unparalleled majestic nature. Immerse yourself in Bali’s traditions, activities and cultural experiences. Candidasa, originally a small fishing village, was founded on the edge of a freshwater lagoon in the 12th century.
A variety of water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, and fishing are available at the beaches of Padang Bay and Tulamben, or right on Sea Breeze’s private beach. Sea Breeze is also blessed with many nearby Balinese cultural sites, including the ancient village of Bali Aga, Goa Lawah, Ujung Water Palace, Tirta Gangga Royal Palace, Besakih Temple, and Amed villages.
We will have 2 days of diving. Two dives each day, for a total of 4 dives for the trip! One day will spent in Nusa Penida hunting for Manta Rays (do your good luck dance before departure). Another day, going to the Liberty Wreck in Tulamben. *Dive gear will be included for all diving packages
We have created a perfectly balanced 5-day dive trip that includes 2 days of diving and day 4 as an “off day” with plenty of time to play tourist and soak in the sun and accommodations in a proper “chilled” dive resort.
We’ll be flying to Bali and arrive at the resort in the afternoon. On this day, we will settle in and relax.
On our second day, we will do our first set of 2 dives either around the Tulamben area or Nusa Penida for Manta Rays!
On our third day, we will do our second set of 2 dives either around the Tulamben area or Nusa Penida for Manta Rays!
Day 4! An “off day” with plenty of time to play tourist and soak in the sun and accommodations in a proper "chilled" dive resort.
On the last day of the trip, we'll have breakfast together and prepare for our way back home.
2 weeks in advance from the trip date.
You can bring along some snacks, extra cash for mini bars, beers and any additional tourism taxes that may apply. If you own any dive gear then you can bring that along as well!

We do not recommend doing the pool sessions during the trip as everybody has a different learning pace. So the trip’s duration might not be enough for you to complete the training and get certified.
Sure, we can make arrangements for private trips for you and your family. Just let us know the location you would like to dive and we will propose the resort and dive arrangements.
